PORTLAND, OR — The Great Northwest Athletic Conference has named Saints senior guard Myles Samuels as the Men's Basketball Player of the Week after a stellar weekend at the CCA Canadian Tip-Off.

Samuels opens the 2024-2025 season by winning his first-ever Player of the Week award after averaging 16.7 points across three games, leading the entire GNAC. His showing was also good for a First-Team All-Tournament nod en route to an undefeated start to the season. Samuels would score 17 points against #14 CSU-San Bernardino, 11 points against #5 Dallas Baptist, and a tied career-best 22 points against Hawai'i-Hilo. He would also contribute 14 total rebounds, seven assists, and six steals over the weekend. Read the GNAC's full Players of the Week release here.
