Seattle, WA – The Saints return home with more success at another meet in the Seattle Washington. SMU took just two athletes to Seattle, Jocelyn Saribay and Cassidy Walchak-Sloan.
Cassidy Walchak-Sloan ran in the women's one mile run, her time was 4:50.16 this scored her second place in section two. This time also paved the way for her to accomplish a outstanding PR. While Cassidy hit another personal record, she also improved the school record she held at Saint Martin's university. As she continues on this season, she is currently ranked 23rd in the nation after this impressive accomplishment and brings her GNAC ranking up as well. Cassidy Walchak-Sloan new current GNAC remaining is no other than number one.
Jocelyn Saribay was the second Saint that competed in the meet. Jocelyn Saribay the weekend before earned a GNAC podium in the women's weighted throw and was back again to do some damage. Jocelyn Saribay came in eighth with a distance of 16.26m.
These Saints are fighting their ways to the top in all meets they participate in. They have been outstanding in their events and are coming back more competitive than ever. The Saints will be back in action Friday March 1st for the Ed Boitano Outdoor Invite.
