ELLENSBURG, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Women's Soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Central Washington on Thursday, October 30.
In a closely-contested match, the Saints found a last-minute equalizer by Brooke Streeter and held off a late attempt by the Wildcats to secure a point in the league standings.
How It Happened
	- In the first half, Central Washington totaled three shots (one on target) in the first 18 minutes, before SMU notched its first shot attempt in the 23rd minute, a shot on goal by Rose Ivanis.
- The Saints were out shot 6-1 in the first half, but goalkeeper Sam Escobar recorded two saves to keep the game at 0-0 at halftime.
- In the second half, the Wildcats scored the match's first goal in the 56th minute off the foot of Casey Park, putting the Saints down 1-0.
- Across the following 30 minutes, goalkeeper Mallory Patzer recorded one save and the Saints fended off six more total shot attempts by the Wildcats.
- In the 86th minute, Brooke Streeter saw a shot attempt saved. Just one minute later, Streeter scored an emphatic goal to level the game at 1-1. Angely Puga assisted on the goal.
- Quickly after the ensuing kickoff, Eva Charles managed two shots on target that were saved by the WIldcats.
- With seconds remaining in the match, Patzer batted away a corner kick attempt and the Saints blocked a shot that ricocheted off the goal post and into the arms of Patzer, sealing a 1-1 final score.
