LACEY, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Women's Soccer team drew 2-2 against Seattle Pacific at Saints Field on Saturday, November 8.
After the Saints fell behind 1-0 early, Saint Martin's fought back to take a 2-1 lead, but ultimately the Falcons found an equalizer late in the match. Saint Martin's honored eight of its graduating players before the match. The Saints concluded the 2025 season with a record of 2-12-4.

Seattle Pacific opened the scoring on the first shot attempt of the game, as Andie Buckley scored off an assist from Ashlyn Valdovinos.

Saint Martin's bounced back with two shot attempts, one of which was on target by Annika Akiona. In the 14th minute, Brooke Streeter drew a foul in the penalty box, and senior Rose Ivanis converted the penalty kick to knot the game at 1-1.

The Saints saw two additional shots on goal after the team's first goal, and SMU went on to take a 2-1 lead in the 35th minute — Rose Ivanis sent in a corner kick, which was then scored by senior Keilee Silva. The Saints went into halftime leading 2-1 and held an 8-7 advantage in shots.

The second half saw the Falcons hold a 10-0 advantage in shots. In the 77th minute, Seattle Pacific drew a penalty, which was converted by Kayla Wallace, her 10th goal of the season. In the final 10 minutes, goalkeeper Sam Escobar fended off two shots on goal to prevent a game-winner for the Falcons, as the clock hit zero on a 2-2 tie.
