Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Saints cruise past Douglas College for fifth straight win

LACEY, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Men's Basketball team notched its fifth consecutive win, defeating Douglas College 114-34 at Marcus Pavilion on Sunday, December 14.

The 80-point victory margin is the largest in a game since Saint Martin's defeated Puget Sound Christian College 111-27 during the 2005 season.

The Saints saw an explosive offensive team performance, led by a historic performance from Ronyo Obou — the junior scored 40 points, the third most points scored in a game in Saints history and the most since 2003. Obou's nine three-pointers is a new program record for threes made in a game. The 40 points scored by Ronyo Obou is the sixth-highest single-game scoring performance of any Division II player this season.

The win improved the Saints' record to 8-2 on the season.
