Women’s Soccer defeated at Chico State

CHICO, Calif. — The Saint Martin's Women's Soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss on the road at Chico State on Sunday, September 14. 

How It Happened

  • Both teams were scoreless through the first 23 minutes, before Chico State got on the board in the 24th minute off a goal from Makayla Quesada. The Wildcats added another goal in the 35th minute, as the Saints went into halftime trailing 2-0.
  • Despite four shots in the second half by SMU, Chico State scored two additional goals in the second 45 minutes to secure a 4-0 victory.
