How it Happened
- The first 45 minutes was scoreless on both sides, but Stanislaus State held a 10-1 advantage in shots and a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal in the first half. Nora Melcher recorded SMU's shot on goal in the first half, while Mallory Patzer recorded three saves.
- Stanislaus State broke the scoreless tie in the 55th minute, as Grace Fabionar scored off assists from Kellyann Rodriguez and Aliah Avila.
- The Saints recorded two shots on goal back-to-back from Eve Charles and ANgely Puga midway through the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net in an eventual loss, as Stanislaus' lone goal proved to be the game winner.
