CONROE, Texas — The Saint Martin's Softball team was victorious 8-0 against Saint Mary's in its final game of the First Pitch Invitational in Conroe, Texas.
The win concluded a 4-1 start to the season at the tournament, which also saw the Saints upset the top-ranked team in the country on day two.

- Kayla Vaughan logged another strong start, improving to 3-0 with four shutout innings, as the Saints combined to shut out the Rattlers.
- After a scoreless first inning, the Saints erupted for five runs in the fifth inning. Haley Agena and Kaylee Walker both hit RBI singles to open up the scoring, before Agena later scored on a wild pitch. Taylor Orgeles followed up with a two-RBI single to center field, giving the Saints an emphatic 5-0 lead early on.
- Saint Martin's added another run in the third inning, as Shelby Lawson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring Emilee Morris.
- The Saints added two more runs in the fifth inning to secure an 8-0 win, as Analise Griffiths and Faith Prosch were both walked with bases loaded.
