LACEY, Wash. — The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) today announced its all-region teams, with Saint Martin's guard
Kaden Hansen and forward
Diego Trejo-Delgado earning D2CCA All-West Region honors.
Hansen earned first-team honors and Trejo-Delgado was selected to the second team. Saint Martin's was the only school to have more than one player earn all-region honors.
Hansen led the Saints across a historic season, as Saint Martin's won both the GNAC regular season and tournament championships. Hansen earned GNAC Player of the Year and first team honors, becoming just the second Saint in program history to be named GNAC player of the year. He averaged 19.3 points per game off 44.1% shooting from the field. Hansen added 2.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.
Trejo-Delgado, a GNAC First Team honoree, averaged 15.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this season for the Saints. He totaled six 20-point performances and four double-doubles. Trejo-Delgado ranked top-10 in the GNAC in points, rebounds, and blocks per game.
Hansen and Trejo-Delgado's selections to the D2CCA All-West Region make them the fifth and sixth players in Saint Martin's history to earn D2CCA All-Region since the award was created in 2011. Hansen is the third Saint in program history to earn first-team honors.
