MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Saint Martin's Baseball team suffered a four-game sweep at Western Oregon on March 28-29 in Monmouth, Oregon.
The series dropped the Saints' record to 9-26 overall and 1-15 in GNAC play.
Game 1: Saint Martin's 2, Western Oregon 4
- Game one was the lowest scoring of the series, as a late push by the Saints ultimately came up just short.
- The Wolves scored a run in both the first and second innings, doing so off an RBI single and home run.
- Normand Hudson had a solid outing on the mound, pitching six innings and keeping Western Oregon off the board in the third and fourth innings. The Wolves added two runs in the bottom of the fifth off a two-RBI double, putting the Saints behind 4-0.
- In the top of the seventh, Kyle Schabot stole third and rounded home base off a fielding error, cutting the deficit to 4-1.
- Ryden Sasaki singled in Alohi Arecchi in the top of the eighth, pulling within 4-2.
- The Saints drew a walk in the ninth inning, but were unable to cut into the deficit any further and fell 4-2.

Game 2: Saint Martin's 5, Western Oregon 13
- The Saints took an early 1-0 lead in the opening inning, as Bransyn Hong hit a sacrifice fly to score Noah Albanese.
- The Wolves tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the third off an RBI single.
- Saint Martin's rattled off three runs in the top of the fourth, taking a 4-1 advantage.
- Western Oregon saw its bats erupt in both the fourth and sixth innings, scoring six runs in each frame.
- The Saints added a run in the top of the seventh, but fell by a final score of 13-5.

Game 3: Saint Martin's 2, Western Oregon 11
- The Saints tallied 10 hits, but were unable to score until the eighth inning, as the Wolves added up 11 runs.
- Western Oregon got the scoring started in the bottom of the second inning with two runs, before also scoring two runs in both the third and fourth innings.
- The Wolves added one run in each of the fifth and sixth innings, as well as three in the seventh to build an 11-0 lead.
- In the top of the eighth, Isaac Hoag hit a sacrifice fly to score Alohi Arecchi. Peter Hollabaugh later doubled to score Brendan Haverlock.
- Saint Martin's was unable to cut into the deficit any further and fell 11-2.

Game 4: Saint Martin's 3, Western Oregon 7
- In the top of the first, the Saints took a 1-0 lead as Noah Albanese scored on a wild pitch.
- The Wolves responded with a four-run outing in the bottom of the first, doing so off a bases-loaded walk, sacrifice fly, wild pitch, and RBI single.
- The Saints chipped away at the WOU advantage, as Isaac Hoag singled to score Bransyn Hong in the top of the second. One inning later, Dillon Andres drew a walk with bases loaded to pull the Saints within 4-3.
- After a scoreless fourth inning, the Wolves added two runs in the fifth inning by way of a fielder's choice sacrifice hit and wild pitch.
- Western Oregon added another run in the bottom of the sixth and Saint Martin's was unable to add any more runs, falling 7-3.
