LACEY, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Baseball concluded a 1-3 home series against Montana State Billings on April 10-11.
The Saints secured an emphatic come-from-behind victory in game three, scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth to notch a victory. The series moved the Saints' record to 10-29 on the season and 2-18 in GNAC play.
Game 1: Saint Martin's 1, MSUB 13
- The game remained close early on, as the Saints limited the Yellowjackets to two runs through the first three innings.
- MSUB added two runs in the fourth and erupted for five runs in the fifth to take a commanding 9-0 advantage. The Yellowjackets later added a run in the sixth and three runs in the eighth to pull ahead 13-0.
- In the bottom of the eighth, Evan Nicol grounded out to score Isaac Hoag and notch a run for Saint Martin's.
- The Saints tallied seven hits in the loss.

- Noah Albanese went 2-4 at the plate.
- Caiden Schultz pitched four innings and struck out five batters. He allowed four runs off seven hits.
- Kole Maeda pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief, striking out one batter.
Game 2: Saint Martin's 1, MSUB 7
- The Saints took an early lead in the bottom of the first, as Noah Albanese led off with a single and later advanced to second. Albanese stole third, and a throwing error on the steal allowed him to cross home plate to put Saint Martin's ahead 1-0.
- The Yellowjackets scored two runs in the top of the second to take a narrow 2-1 lead, a score that held through the first four innings.
- Montana State Billings rallied for five runs in the top of the fifth inning, tilting the game in favor of the Yellowjackets with a 7-1 lead, an advantage that ultimately held through the final out.

Game 3: Saint Martin's 4, MSUB 3
- The third game of the series was low-scoring, as Saints pitcher Nikki Scott II pitched a scoreless first four innings.
- The Yellowjackets broke the scoreless tie in the top of the fifth, scoring two runs.
- In the bottom of the fifth, the Saints got on the board, as Bransyn Hong grounded out to score Noah Albanese and trim the deficit to 2-1.
- MSU Billings added a run in the top of the sixth off a solo home run to pull ahead 3-1.
- After a scoreless seventh and eighth inning, the Saints entered the bottom of the ninth trailing 3-1.
- Two consecutive errors by Billings with no out saw the Saints move runners to first and second, before Kyle Schabot drew a walk to load the bases.
- Alohi Arecchi tied the game with a two-RBI single into left field.
- After Schabot stole third and Arecchi moved to second, Brendan Haverlock walked to load the bases with one out.
- On the ensuing at-bat, Kelton Tom hit the ball into play, as the throw home was too late to catch Kyle Schabot, allowing the Saints to walk off with a 4-3 victory.

Game 4: Saint Martin's 3, MSUB 10
- In the final game of the series, the Saints took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first with an RBI single by Evan Nicol.
- The Yellowjackets erupted for seven runs in the top of the seventh, capitalizing off eight hits in the inning.
- The Saints limited the production from MSUB in the ensuing innings, but were unable to climb back into contention. Saint Martin's scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth off RBI hits from Kyle Schabot and Bransyn Hong. Billings added one run in the third, fifth, and sixth innings to carry out a 10-3 loss for Saint Martin's.
