MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Saint Martin's Softball team won three out of four games at Western Oregon, continuing to hold first place in the GNAC Softball standings.
The Saints out-scored the Wolves 25-10 and ended the series with a 10-1 six-inning victory. The series moved the Saints' record on the season to 28-14 overall and 13-3 in GNAC play.
Game 1: Saint Martin's 8, Western Oregon 3
- The Saints built a 2-0 lead after two innings, scoring one run in each inning off a sacrifice fly by Taylor Orgelese and an RBI single by Shelby Lawson.
- Saint Martin's added three more runs in the top of the third to pull ahead 5-0.
- The Wolves trimmed the Saints' lead to 5-2 with two runs in the third and later saw a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth to pull within 5-3.
- The Saints responded in the top of the sixth with three runs to make it 8-3. Shelby Lawson, Heather Ebner, and Jennessy Lopez each saw RBI hits to push Saint Martin's ahead by five runs. Keagan Norfleet secured the save as the Saints went on to win 8-3.

Game 2: Saint Martin's 5, Western Oregon 2
- The Saints fell behind 1-0 in the first inning and were held scoreless through the first four innings, but saw two runs in the top of the fifth off a two-RBI triple by Haley Agena to put the Saints up 2-1.
- The Saints extended the lead to 3-1 in the top of sixth off an RBI single from Jennessy Lopez, before the Wolves added a run in the bottom half of the inning to pull within 3-1.
- A two-RBI home run by Heather Ebner in the top of the seventh put the Saints ahead 5-2, before Amanda Peterson retired the Wolves in order in the bottom of the seventh to secure the victory for Saint Martin's.

- Kayla Vaughan picked up her 10th win of the season, throwing 4.0 innings and striking out three batters. She allowed one run off two hits.
- Amanda Peterson earned her fifth save of the season, throwing 3.0 innings and allowing one run off one hit — she struck out three batters.
Game 3: Saint Martin's 2, Western Oregon 4
- The Wolves took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first off a throwing error that scored two runners. Saint Martin's saw its first run in the top of the second, as Jules Detrinidad grounded out to score Taylor Orgeles and trim the deficit to 2-1.
- In the top of the sixth, a solo home run by Jennessy Lopez tied the game at 2-2.
- The Wolves answered in the bottom of the sixth, as a two-RBI single put the Saints behind 4-2.
- In the top of the seventh, the Saints moved runners to first and second with one out, but were unable to make up any further ground and fell by a final score of 4-2.

Game 4: Saint Martin's 10, Western Oregon 1
- The Saints set the tone with an outburst of runs in the top of the seventh, building up a 7-0 lead.
- The Wolves scored a run in the bottom of the third, but the Saints extended the lead to 8-1 with an RBI double from Faith Prosch to score Taylor Orgeles.
- The Saints forced an eight-run rule in the top of the sixth, with a RBI groundout from Heather Ebner and a sacrifice fly by Taylor Orgeles. Keagan Norfleet closed out the bottom of the sixth, securing a 10-1 Saint Martin's victory and a 3-1 series win.
