Sawatzky atop individual leader board, Saints Men’s golf second in team standings after day two of GNAC Championships

COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO — The Saint Martin's Men's Golf team conclude day two of the 2026 GNAC Men's Golf Championships with a strong showing, as Parker Sawatzky climbed atop the individual leader board and the Saints held a firm hold of second place in the team standings.

The Saints combined to shoot 280 (E) on day two, bringing the combined team score from the first two rounds to 560 (-4) to rank second behind Western Washington.

Day 2 Results

  • After finishing round one in third place with a -3 on day one, Parker Sawatzky came back today with another stellar showing and shot -3 again, moving to -6 through two rounds and holding a two-stroke lead in the individual standings.
  • Rasmus Tamker also mirrored his round one score (-2) today, moving up from fourth to a tie for second place with a combined two-round score of -4.
  • Davis Sheets moved up six spots in the standings, recording a -1 on day two to improve his combined score to +4 through two rounds, ranking 16th in the individual standings.
  • Carter Sheets stands at 18th place at +5 after shooting +6 in round two.
  • Gavin Klein ranks 21st through two rounds, shooting a +8 today to bring his combined score to +10.
