Rasmus Tamker places 32nd at NCAA South Central/West Regional Championships

STOCKTON, Calif. — Saint Martin's Men's Golfer Rasmus Tamker concluded the 2026 NCAA South Central/West Regional Championships, finishing with a final score of 218 (+2) to finish 32nd out of 113 competing golfers.

The strong showing at the NCAA Regionals concludes a productive year in which Tamker also claimed the individual GNAC Championship title.

How It Happened
Day 1 
  • On day one, Tamker recorded a score of 71 (-1) to rank 19th out of 108 golfers.
  • After a par on hole one, the junior shot a birdie on hole two. Tamker shot par on all but one hold on the front nine, standing at 36 (E) through nine holes.
  • Tamker opened the back nine with back-to-back birides to improve his overall score to two under par.
  • Throughout the ensuing seven holes, Tamker recorded one birdie, two bogies, and four pars to finish the day at 71 (-1).
Day 2
  • Rasmus Tamker started off day two with two consecutive birdies, before shooting par on the following four holes.
  • Tamker hit two bogies and one par in the final three holes of the front nine, heading into the back nine at par for the round.
  • On the back nine, Tamker recorded one birdie, six pars, and two bogies to finish one above par for round two.
  • After shooting a 73 (+1) in round two, Tamker's overall score through two rounds moved to 144 (E), ranking 30th out of 111 golfers.
Day 3
  • On the final day of action, Rasmus Tamker started off with two straight pars, followed by consecutive birdies.
  • Tamker finished the front nine at one under par for the round, after adding another birdie, two pars, and two bogies.
  • On the back nine, Tamker shot par onseven holes, and saw one bogie and one double bogie, finishing with a 74 (+2) for the final round.
  • Overall, Tamker finished 218 (+2) for the tournament, placing 32nd out of 113 golfers.
