The Saint Martin's University Sports Information Office is available to assist you with coverage of all 15 Saints athletic teams. Assistant Athletic Director of Communications Davis Carbaugh will be happy to serve you during the athletic season. The Sports Information Office is located inside the Worthington Center. Enter the main office on your left when you come in the front door of the building and then head up the stairs.

To assist you during the season, please take time to read the media information found on this page. Briefly, interviews must be arranged through the SID Office at least one day (24 hours) in advance. All SMU practices are closed to the media without prior notification given to the SID. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Student-Athletes
All Saint Martin's student-athletes, including transfers, are required to fill out a Saint Martin's student-athlete questionnaire so that the SID Office can keep an accurate record of your time as a Saint. Click HERE to fill out the questionnaire.

MEDIA GUIDELINES

Media Credentials
Credentials for Saint Martin's University home athletic events, as well as sideline passes, will only be issued to working media outlets. If you wish to obtain credentials, please contact the SMU Sports Information Office at least three days prior to the event. Any person wishing to take photos must obtain credentials from the SID office.

Interview Policy
All SMU coaches and players are normally available for interviews following a 10-minute post-game cool down period, as per NCAA regulations. Please ask a member of the SID staff to arrange an interview. The SMU Department of Athletics does not hold weekly press conferences. All interviews with coaches and student-athletes must go through the SID office. Please give at least 24 hour notice for interview requests.

How to refer to SMU
We ask that you refer to our institution as Saint Martin's University on the first reference and as SMU or Saint Martin's on subsequent references. Please refrain from referring as St. Martin's.
