Alex Bailey

Bailey is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Saint Martin's University baseball program and is serving as a recruiting coordinator.

He arrived at SMU having coached high school, legion and club baseball. Prior to his arrival he served as a club coach with Baseball Northwest from 2003-12. He was also a site evaluator with the club (2011-12).

In 2012 he coach the Oregon USA baseball 16U team and was an instructor with Grand Slam Baseball Academy from 2008-12.

At the high school level he served as the junior varsity baseball and basketball coach at West Linn High School in 2005. He was promoted to assistant varsity baseball coach in 2006 while also serving as the assistant DI Legion coach for Corvallis High School that same year.

Bailey played collegiately at Division III George Fox. His father is currently the associate head coach at the Oregon State University.
