Wesley Reynolds enters his fifth season as an assistant coach in 2025-26. Since joining the coaching staff, the Saints have won consecutive GNAC Championships, reached the GNAC Tournament Final for the first time in program history, and appeared in the NCAA tournament for the third time in program history. Saint Martin’s has gone 83-36 in the time Reynolds has been on staff, and the Saints have become a national name, ranked in 31 of the last 48 national rankings.
Coach Reynolds directs statistical analysis in the program and provides reports on player efficiency. Coach Reynolds manages the Saints “point value system” and works directly with the skill development of all front-court players. In 2024 Reynolds helped develop the best scoring offense in the Saints NCAA era, averaging over 83 points per game. During the 2022-23 season, the Saints ranked 10th nationally in made threes per game, 17th nationally in Assists per game, and led the GNAC in scoring offense, assists, made threes and scoring margin during conference play. In 2021-22 The Saints led the GNAC in defensive rebounding, three-point percentage, and were second in scoring defense.
Coach Reynolds is a recent graduate (2021) of George Fox University where he obtained a BA degree in Business Finance. Reynolds worked Saint Martin’s summer camps during college, and previously coached in the Thurston County based “Live Learn Hoop” program.
Wesley Reynolds is a local product, he was a standout at North Thurston High School before moving on to play for current Saints head coach Aaron Landon at South Puget Sound Community College from 2016-18. During that time Reynolds and the Clippers dominated the NWAC West Region, going 26-2 and winning back to back conference titles. Reynolds reached the NWAC Elite 8 twice as a player, and in 2017-18 lead the entire NWAC in rebounds at 10.1 per game. Reynolds holds the single game record at SPSCC for rebounds in a game (26).
Beyond his role as an assistant coach, Coach Reynolds works as a contract specialist for the US Army.
