Biography

2015: Is a two-time NCAA All-American….Both indoors and outdoors….During his first year competing in a SMU jersey, he finished fourth overall at the GNAC Championship indoors with a high jump of 6-7…He has a personal best 7-0 1/2 set at the UW Indoor Preview…That height is both a GNAC and school record…Is the only athlete in GNAC history to jump over 7-0…Went on to compete at the NCAA Championship and finished fifth overall with a mark of 6-9 1/2 to earn All-American honors…During the outdoor season, he finished second overall in the high jump with a mark of 6-7…He went on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championship and had a personal-best jump 6-11 3/4 to finish third overall to earn All-American honors…After the season, he was named GNAC Newcomer of the Year…He holds both the GNAC and school record in the high jump outdoors….He is SMU’s first All-American both indoors and outdoors.

High School: A letter winner in track & field...Placed sixth in the high jump at the state championships...Played football...Named to the honor roll for three years.
