Coach Ken is entering his second season with the Saints, helping them achieve their first top-25 ranking in school history during the 2021-2022 season. He joined the Saints after recently assisting at the local Pope John Paul II high school in Lacey for two seasons. During his time at Pope John Paul II, he assisted the team to a record number of wins, and the school’s first-ever league playoff win.
Coach Ken spent time as the head manager for the USC women's basketball for three seasons until 1996. While at USC, he worked with head coach Cheryl Miller and several U.S. Olympians, WNBA players and future college and WNBA coaches.
After his time at USC, Coach Ken was the head girls' basketball coach at South Torrance high school in Torrance, California. He was then hired at Malibu high school in California to be the head girls' basketball coach for two seasons, where he led the team to a then-school record number of wins.
During this time Coach Ken also coached at the UCLA girls basketball camp under the direction of head coach Kathy Olivier and the Loyola Marymount girls basketball camp under the direction of head coach Julie Wilhoit. Ken also co-coached a women’s college team in the Say No Classic in Los Angeles in the summer of 1999.
Coach Ken graduated from USC with a degree in Political Science. He is married to Maureen and has 3 kids.
