Schierman is entering her second season as the assistant women’s basketball coach.

"I feel very fortunate to have hired someone like Kylee," said head coach Tim Healy, at the time of her hiring. "She was an outstanding player in the GNAC, understands this level of play and is hungry to be in the coaching profession.  In the short time she has been here she has jumped in feet first to the program and is already making a positive impact on our players.  I look forward to working with her and watching her grow.  I think she has a very bright future."

Schierman played two years (2012-14) at NNU, where she helped the Crusaders to the 2013 NCAA post-season tournament. That season, she was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year. She graduated from NNU with her Bachelor's degree in Recreational Management and had her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from College of Southern Idaho.

"I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of such a successful program as Saint Martin's," said Schierman, at the time of her hiring. "Tim Healy is an outstanding coach, and I am thankful to have this opportunity to work with him so early in my career. I am very excited to embark on this new journey!"

After graduating from NNU, she was hired as the assistant coach at Warner Pacific College, where she worked extensively with the guards and implemented the strength and condition program. She also helped with scouting, recruiting and travel.

Schierman is from Portland, Ore., and graduated from Central Catholic High School, where she averaged 14 points per game and six rebounds per game. She was named Second team All-Conference her junior year and was First team All-Conference her senior season.
