SFU struck again in the 14th minute of the first half on a feed from Nadia Hakeem found Christina Dickson in the middle of the box for a 2-0 lead. In the second half, the Saints found their first opportunity to strike with a corner kick in the 47th minute. After a corner and a shot for Shea McKnight, Simon Fraser broke through the Saints' defense in the 70th minute with their third goal. Simon Fraser went on to add two more goals in the final 20 minutes to secure the 5-0 victory. "We responded well in the second half and battled through the adversities of the game," said head coach Heather Cato. "Specifically, Shea (McKnight), Gloria (Petri), Lauren (Allison) and Tiare (Kahalewai) helped us push through with their tenacity and determination to fight to the end. We have to build on the takeaways of today's game and begin to prepare for Saturday." Jade Castaneda lead the Saints with two shots, one coming on goal. Allison and McKnight each recorded one shot, and one shot on goal combined. Ali Koehler got the start at keeper for the Saints, playing the whole match while making six saves to bring her save total to 43 on the season. LACEY, Wash. - Behind Lauren Allison's second goal of the season and a stellar performance from Ali Koehler that ended with 11 saves, the Saints tied Central Washington 1-1 in double overtime at home on Saturday. The Saints and the Wildcats each were presented with opportunities to take an early in the match, with Koehler making three saves in the first 17 minutes. In the 38th minute, Lauren Allison connected on a pass from Brittany Orlosky, in the middle of the box, five yards out for her second goal in four matches. The Saints repelled two corner kicks from the Wildcats to turn the momentum and fire off two shots on goal in the closing minutes of the first half. However, the 54th minute, after a cross from the far side of the field found Kelsey Bechtholdt, who then connected with Sophia Keenan in the box, Keenan tied the match on a shot from left to right.
