Ticket Information - SMU students get in free with a valid student ID card and tickets are available for only five dollars. Seniors/Military/Non-SMU Students get in for three dollars. Children under the age of 11 get in free.
 
Saints Split Four Games at D-II West Region Volleyball Tournament – The Saints opened up the 2017 Division-II West Region Volleyball Showcase Tournament with a sweep over Humboldt State, 3-0. Gondrezick led the team with 12 kills, followed closely by Vernoy (10) and Mitchell (8). Nesbitt led the Saints with 35 assists, while Clarice Buchanan recorded a team-leading 12 digs. Nesbitt, and Gooding each recorded one service ace with Gooding leading the team with three blocks. The Saints dropped their second match 3-0 to Point Loma before taking the first set off of Notre Dame de Namur before ultimately falling 3-1. In the final match of the tournament, SMU took the first set from Cal State Dominguez Hills 25-19. The Toros battled back in the second and squeezed out the 26-24 victory. The Saints won the third set 25-22 before losing 13-25 in the fourth set to force a decisive set five. Saint Martin's controlled the final set, gaining a quick 3-0 lead and held off the Toros' attack to win 15-12.  Mitchell led the way with 17 kills, followed by Gondrezick with 15 and Vernoy at 14. Nesbitt and Gooding each earned three aces while Langford contributed six of the Saints' 11 blocks. Nesbitt wrapped up her stellar performance with 50 assists and 15 digs.
 
Nicolette Nesbitt Named To All-Tournament Team – Nesbitt earned a spot on the All-Tournament team after help lead Saint Martin's to two victories along with 145 total assists in four matches. Nesbitt's 50-assist, 15-dig match against Cal State Dominguez Hills was the first of her career. Nesbitt began the tournament with 35 assists and six kills, a season high, against Humboldt State. She followed up with 27 assists, six digs and 33 assists, seven dig performances against Point Loma and Notre Dame de Namur respectively. Four players were selected from the Lacey Pod out of the six competing teams.
 
Rebecca Mitchell Eclipses 100 Kill Mark – Only eight matches into the season, Rebecca Mitchell passed the 100-kill mark with her 16th kill against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday. Mitchell finished the tournament with 44 kills and 48 digs including back-to-back 16 dig performances. She is only one of six hitters in the GNAC to enter conference action with 100 kills or more.
 
Another Fifth Set Victory – For the second time this season the Saints entered the fifth and final set of a volleyball match and for the second time, exited with a victory. The set five victory came against Adelphi on September 2.
 
Saints Thrive In Tournament Play – Since Jon Killingbeck took over as the head coach at the start of the 2016 season, the Saints hold a 9-3 record in tournament action. Last season, Saint Martin's swept D-II West Region Volleyball Tournament in California. This year, the Saints went 3-1 at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Classic before hosting a 2-2 record at the D-II West Region Volleyball Tournament.
 
Western Oregon Preview – The Wolves are currently 4-3 on the season with victories over Lubbock Christian, Westminster, Cal State San Marcos and Fresno Pacific. WOU is currently on a one game losing streak. In 16 sets, Emma Tecklenburg leads the Wolves in kills with 56 total along with a .233 hitting percentage. Danielle Wiley and Skyler Curry shared the setter role with 100 and 78 assists respectively. Terezie Cernosek provides the wall with five solo and six assisted blocks for a total of 11 blocks. Clarie Zanon has recorded a team leading 58 digs in the Wolves seven matches for 3.62 digs per set. The Wolves are evenly matched in the first set, going 2-2 before dominating in sets 2-4, with a record of 9-2.
 
Concordia Preview – The Cavaliers of Concordia are 5-2 on the season and will face Seattle Pacific on Thursday before traveling to Saint Martin's on Saturday. The Cavaliers are currently on a one match winning streak. CU is led by All-Tournament selection Lindsey Dorney, who leads the team with 86 kills and 3.31 kills per set. Dorsey also leads the team in service aces with 13 in 26 sets and is third in digs with 69 and blocks at 16 total. Michele Brown has complied a majority of assists with 179 total, and is averaging 10.53 assists per set. Anna Dols leads the Cavaliers with 108 digs, followed by Allie Spear at 85 digs.  Colby Barnette has proven to be a force on the wall with five solo blocks and 25 assisted blocks. The Cavaliers have dropped four of the seven first sets before rallying to win 12 of 18 sets in sets 2-4. They are 1-0 in set five.
