Ticket Information - SMU students get in free at every SMU Home game with a valid student ID card and tickets are available for only five dollars. Seniors/Military/Non-SMU Students get in for three dollars. Children under the age of 11 get in free.
 
Saints Lose Hard Battle Against Cal Baptist At Home – After holding off a relentless attack from the Lancers, Saint Martin's defense gave way late in the second as regional ranked Cal Baptist won the match 5-0. In the first half, the Saints (0-5) fought off six shots by the Lancers (2-3) in the first 18 minutes of the match. A turnover by the Saints in the 21st minute, on their end of the field, led to CBU's first goal of the game. The Saints attempted to equalize the match on a corner kick from Madison Walker and a shot by Shea McKnight in the first half; however, the match remained 1-0. SMU's defense stood strong at the start of the second half, withstanding six Lancers' shots and one corner. At the 77th minute mark, Cal Baptist stretched their lead to 2-0 after Camille Ramirez's shot from the left side of the box, found its' way over Sara Christensen's arm in the middle of the net. In the final 10 minutes, the Lancers went on to score three more times, including second goals of the match for Brooke Ligtenberg and Miranda Martinez.
 
Shea McKnight and Kyle Sarchett leading the Saints' offense – Combining for 13 shots and one goal, Shea McKnight and Kyle Sarchett have equaled more than 50 percent of the Saints' shots. Saint Martin's has taken 24 total shots in five matches, with 10 landing on target.
 
Seattle Pacific Preview – The Falcons of Seattle Pacific enter the week ranked seventh in the West Region with a 3-2-0 record after defeating Simon Fraser 2-1 in their last match. The driving force behind SPU has been Kasey Reeve, who has four goals, three of which are game-winning goals on the season. Reeve accounts for four of the Falcons' nine goals, on 10 total shots and seven on goal. Mickayla Mury is second on the team with two goals while Sophia Chilczuk, Julia DeVere and Megan Nielsen each contribute one goal on the season. Maddy Booster leads the team with two assists. Molly Stinson has played all 458 minutes at keeper this year for the Falcons, allowing eight goals while making 25 saves for a .758 save percentage. Stinson is averaging 1.57 goal per contest. The Falcons have been outscored 6-2 in the first half but rally in the second half by outscoring their opponents 6-1. In overtime, SPU has scored one goal but also have allowed one goal. SPU has been outshot by their opponents 67-53, with the Flacons making 25 saves to their opponents 14.
 
Western Washington Preview – The Saints will have a tall task of knocking off the 2016 NCAA National Champions, Western Washington, who enters the match ranked No. 1 in the country and are undefeated at 5-0-0. The Vikings have already begun GNAC play with a 7-0 victory over Western Oregon on September 16. WWU is led by Gabriela Pelogi and Karli White up front who have combined for 10 goals, seven assists and 27 points. Pelogi leads the team with six goals and 15 points while White ranks first in assists with four. Liv Larson (four goals, three assists, 11 points) and Grace Eversaul (three goals, six points) complete the four-attacker approach for Western Washington. Ashley Homer has seen most of the action at goalkeeper for the Vikings, playing 405 minutes, allowing two goals while making seven saves. She has been credited with two shutouts along with a .44 goal average and .778 save percentage. The Vikings like to attack early, scoring 16 of their 19 total goals in the first half, while only allowing one first half goal. They have outshot their opponents 108-26 with their opponents making 30 saves to the Vikings eight.
 
GNAC Preview – Western Washington was ranked unanimously atop the GNAC to begin the season and have lived up to the expectations with a flawless 5-0-0 record and a No. 1 national ranking. Following Western Washington is Seattle Pacific and Northwest Nazarene who each have three points in conference play. Concordia and Central Washington tied last week and are tied in the standings with one point. Saint Martin's, Montana State Billings, Simon Fraser, and Western Oregon all have zero points in conference; however, SMU is the only school yet to play a conference match.
