Oshiro began the four-game series with perfect timing. In the 10th inning, game tied, Oshiro connected on a ball to right field for his first collegiate home run, leading the Saints to a 5-4 victory. He went on in the series to hit two more home runs, driving six RBIs, while hitting 10-for-16 (.625 avg). Oshiro scored six times, with one double and worked three walks, including an intentional walk. Inouye helped the secure the series split on the road, throwing in the first game of the second doubleheader. Going the distance for the first time in his career, Inouye managed to strike out a season high seven batters.  He only allowed two runs, one earned, to score on six hits.

Clark Streby Provides Lights Out Punch – The transfer from Walla Walla CC has given Saint Martin's a legitimate ace in their starting rotation. In 46.2 innings of work, Streby is seventh in the GNAC with a 4.24 ERA. He ranks tied for third in earned runs allowed (16), fourth in strikeouts (46), and innings pitched, and eighth in ERA. Tanner Inouye Establishing His Presence In GNAC – Before the third inning of his start against MSUB, where he allowed five runs, Inouye had been one of the most efficient pitchers for Saint Martin's, holding an ERA of 2.12. He finally qualified to be on the GNAC leaderboard after tossing a complete game against NNU. Inouye ranks third in the GNAC in ERA at 3.54 in 40.2 inning pitched and 27 strikeouts.

Steven Sordahl Picking Up Right Where He Left Off – As one of the best hitters for the Saints in 2017, Sordahl once again is near the top of SMU's batting average. Hitting .276 in 36 games, Sordahl has recorded 43 hits, with three double, two triples, 16 RBIs, 13 walks and five stolen bases.

Austin Feist Slugging The Ball – After a slow start, the All-Conference selection from 2017 found his grove in GNAC play.
