Early First Half Goals Deny Saints Victory

LACEY, Wash. - Northwest Nazarene's two quick first half goals proved to be the difference maker in a 2-0 victory over Saint Martin's on Thursday afternoon.

The Nighthawks took a quick lead over the Saints, scoring a goal seven minutes into the match. Minutes later, the Saints were unable to stop the Nighthawk's offense as they punched in a second goal. SMU had five shots and two corners kicks in the first half, to NNU's seven shots and two corners.

The Saints kept the Nighthawks scoreless in the second half; however, were unable to punch in a goal of their own.
