LUBBOCK, Texas – After traveling 2,000 miles, Northeastern State bested the Saints behind a flurry of goals, scoring a total of seven goals to take a 7-1 win.
Both teams' defenses battled it out until the 30th minute when the Riverhawks (2-3-0) broke the stalemate with a goal from Sam Scarth. NSU rode the momentum and scored two more goals in the 33rd and 36th minute. Saint Martin's (1-4-0) went into the half down, 3-0.
After the break, the Saints defense continued to struggle to contain Northeastern, giving up two more goals in the 48th and 52nd minute of play.

NSU responded with two goals in the 89th and 90th minute to conclude the match, 7-1.
The Saints took eight shots with three shots on goal.
