MONMOUTH, Oreg. – The Saint Martin's men's soccer team (2-10-2, 2-5-1 GNAC) couldn't get the job done against Western Oregon (2-10-2, 1-7-1 GNAC) Sunday afternoon. The Saints fell 2-0 in their third to last road game of the season.
The Wolves made the difference with scoring in the 27
th and 68
th minute. WOU made the most of their opportunities as they only had three shots on goal, those two finding the back of the net, and a third saved by
Nick Mueller.
Diego Andrade had the lone SOG for the Saints while both
Ethan Jud and Angel Alvardo-Fajardo had two total shots.
The Saints will be back at home on Thursday, October 27
th with a contest against Northwest Nazarene (10-3-2, 6-2-1 GNAC). Kickoff is scheduled for 2 PM at Saints Field.
