PR Party for Saints’ T&F at Doris Heritage

SEATTLE –   Saint Martin's trip to Seattle for the Doris Heritage Track Festival was highlighted by an astounding 12 personal bests and 12 season bests.

Cree Bell led the way for the Saints in the women's 100m finishing fifth with a time of 12.92 for a new season best. Behind her, Madison Vu (13.11) and Margaret Zilla (13.63) set new PR's for themselves.
 
In the women's 200m Bell set a new PR with a time of 26.29 for a sixth place finish. Gabriela Cintron also set a new PR in the 200 with a time of 28.53.
 
In the women's 800m Cassidy Walchak-Sloan was the first finisher for SMU coming in fifth with a time of 2:22.10. After her, Alisha Saucedo finished seventh with a time of 2:30.57.
 
Steven Baltz finished third in the men's 800m with a time of 2:02.40.
 
In the men's 5000m Michael Harwell set a new PR with a time of 15:45.18.
 
Naomi Hartley won the women's 5000m with a PR time of 18:06.48. Finishing second with a time of 18:52.63, was her teammate Sara Sabra who also set a new PR for herself. Kya Ramirez refused to be left out of the PR party, setting her own PR with a time of 20:10.36.
 
Eden Mortensen finished third in the women's high jump with a height of 1.46m (4-ft, 9.5-in).
 
Andrew Boyd placed fifth in the men's javelin throw with a distance of 45.89m (150-ft, 6-in).
 
The Schulz brothers took over in the men's long jump. Josh Schulz finished first with a new season best distance of 6.96m (22-ft, 10-in). Andrew Schulz finished second setting a new PR for himself with a distance of 6.66m (21-ft, 10.25-in).
 
Brianna Cabrera set a new season best in the women's pole vault with a distance of 3.30m (9-ft, 7.75-in).
 
The women's 4x100m relay team of Vu, Bell, Zilla and Cintron finished first with a time of 50.73.
 
In the men's 4x100m relay, the team of Josh Schulz, Landon Armstrong, Boyd, and Andrew Schulz finished second with a time of 44.06.
