MONMOUTH, Oreg. – The Saint Martin's men's basketball team (19-3, 9-3 GNAC) took another step towards officially booking their ticket to the GNAC tournament Saturday, when they downed Western Oregon by a score of 83-79.
 
The Salem Trio of Jaden Nielsen-Skinner, Kyle Greeley, and Tyke Thompson all scored double-digits in the win, while Thompson had a double-double with 12 rebounds to go along with his 10 points. Marcel Stevens was a huge spark into the starting lineup as the guard had three big threes and gobbled up eight rebounds. Off the bench, Jayshawn Moore tallied 11 points.
 
The Saints will have a tough road trip in the upcoming week, with trips to Seattle to take on SPU and Billings to take on MSUB. It starts with a clash against the Falcons on Thursday, February 15^th at 7 PM.
