Box Score 2 LACEY, Wash. – The Saint Martin's baseball team grabbed two big wins over the Wildcats of Central Washington on Sunday, emerging victorious by a score of 7-2 and 4-2 in the doubleheader.
After allowing two runs in the first inning,
Blaze Wong leveled it out for a marvelous start, notching six total innings with two strikeouts and no more earned runs. The Saints rallied in the fifth, with an RBI single from
Trevor McCorkle followed by
Hunter Sasaki with an RBI single and a
Jonathan Shimabukuro two-run single. The lead was cushioned with a two-run single from McCorkle and
Austin Schaler rounded it out with a sac fly. On the mound,
Caleb Okada took over for Wong to pitch the final three innings, where he didn't allow a run and picked up the three-inning save.

Schaler then started the scoring in game two with a second inning RBI knock, then
Dylan McLaughlin got in on the action with a sac fly. The Mc's of the team weren't done. McCorkle continued his good run of play with a single to score
Peter Hollabaugh while Brady McNally tallied a run by pushing Shimabukuro across.
Colin Driscoll fired 5.2 innings, picking up the win only allowing one run. It was
Connor Mendez that grabbed the save firing the final 1.1 innings and striking out one.
