PORTLAND, Ore. — The Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) today announced its 2025-26 Preseason All-Conference Women's Basketball team, with Saint Martin's players Kiana Rios and Jada Travis earning spots on the list.
The 15 Preseason All-Conference players were voted on by GNAC women's basketball coaches. Rios is coming off a Second-Team All-Conference season, while Travis was the 2024-25 GNAC Freshman of the Year.
Rios, a senior from Warden, Washington, is coming off a stellar season for the Saints in which she averaged 13.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. She started all 29 games for SMU, leading the team in field goals made, free throws made, and total rebounds.
Travis, a sophomore from Tacoma, Washington, led the Saints with 14.0 points per game off 42.7% shooting from the field and 36.6% shooting from three-point range. She led the Saints with 4.2 assists per game, which ranked third best among all GNAC players. Her 1.9 steals per game led all Saints, and ranked eighth in the conference.
The Saint Martin's Women's Basketball team is set to open the 2025-26 regular season at the DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic on October 31, facing Minot State.
