BURNABY, B.C. — The Saint Martin's Volleyball team lost its road GNAC match at No. 8 Simon Fraser in three sets on Saturday, November 1.
How It Happened
	- The Saints hit their best percentage in the first set, combining to hit .222%. Saint Martin's held an early 8-4 lead, but a 6-0 run later in the set put SMU behind 12-9. A later 5-0 run by the Red Leafs put the Saints behind 20-13. Down 21-15, the Saints went on a 5-0 run to come within 21-20. However, the Red Leafs closed the frame on a 4-1 run to win 25-21.
 
	- After an early 10-4 deficit, the Saints gave way to a critical 8-0 run by the Red Leafs that saw Simon Fraser take an 18-4 lead. Simon Fraser went on to win the frame 25-11.
 
	- Saint Martin's held an early 6-5 lead in the third set, and the game was tied at 12-12, but a 7-1 run by Simon Fraser put Saint Martin's behind 19-13. Saint Martin's came within 23-19 late in the set, but Simon Fraser won the final two points to take the third set 25-19 and win the match.
