Cross Country concludes season at NCAA North Regionals

MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Saint Martin's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed this Saturday at the 2025 NCAA North Regionals in Monmouth, Oregon.

The Saints placed 21st in the men's 10k with 599 points, while the women's team placed 26th with a team score of 743.

Freshman Kekaihulali Halpern was the Saints' top finisher in the women's 6k, clocking in at 21:29.81 to place 41st out of 191 runners. On the men's side, junior Noe Ortega was SMU's top finisher with a time of 32:48.34 to place 105th out of 163 athletes.

Elijah Dale placed 113th in the men's 10k, clocking in at 33:01.11. The Saint saw a pack finish after Dale, as Ethan Coon (33:19.17) placed 126th, Tyler Scott (33:23.82) finished 127th, and Kainalu Pagente (33:25.10) rounded out the Saint Martin's top five.

In the women's 6k, Kekaimalino Halpern was SMU's second finisher, placing 174th with a time of 24:34.84. Camila Romo placed 177th with a time of 24:52.05 and Olivia Mitchell placed 179th with a time of 24:55.30. Kadence Merritt rounded out the Saint Martin's top five with a time of 25:58.0 to place 183rd.
