Men’s Golf hosts 2025 SMU Bishop Invitational, places ninth in team standings

DUPONT, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Men's Golf team hosted the 2025 SMU Bishop Invitational this weekend at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.

The Saints finished tied-for-ninth out of 16 teams, scoring a combined 875 (+11) across three rounds. Rasmus Tamker finished as the Saints' top golfer with a combined score of 213 (-3) to place 11th out of 79 golfers.

Tamker finished round one tied for first with a score of 69 (-3) and hit a 68 (-4) in round two. He finished with a 76 (+4) in round three on the final day of action to finish tied for 11th.

Carter Sheets placed 28th, finishing with a final score of 218 (+2) — his best round was round two, hitting a 72 (par).

Parker Sawatzky finished at 225 (+9) to place 53rd. Sawatzky hit a 71 (-1) in round two.

Gavin Klein hit a 70 (-2) in the first round, and finished at 227 (+11) overall to place 57th. Henry Sanders placed 60th with a score of 228 (+12).

Jacob Parker placed 62nd with a 229 (+13). Jaxon Wallis and Christopher Gunlikson placid tied for 63rd with a score of 230 (+14).

Next up, the Saints will be back in action on Sept. 29-30 at the Western Washington Invitational in Bellingham, Washington.
