OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Women's Soccer Team notched their first win of the 2025 season with a 1-0 victory over The Evergreen State College.

How it Happened

• The Saints defense had a great showing as they held the Geoducks to just one shot one goal for the entire match.
• Offensively, the scoring opportunities came early and often for Saint Martin's, as Nora Melcher recorded a shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match
• The lone goal of the match came in the 32nd minute as senior Brooke Streeter scored her first career goal and give the Saints a 1-0 lead.
• SMU recorded seven shots on goal

• Brooke Streeter recorded the goal and Angely Puga led the team with two shots on goal.
• Goalkeepers Sam Escobar and Mallory Patzer split the time in goal with Patzer recording the only save for the Saints
