Saints Baseball set to travel for four-game series at Cal State East Bay

The Saint Martin's Baseball team will travel to face Cal State East Bay in Hayward, California for a four-game series on Feb. 27-March 1.

The Saints enter the week with a 6-9 record, after splitting a series 2-2 with Whitworth in the program's first games on the new turf field.

  • The Saints went 2-2 in the team's home openers against Whitworth, winning 8-7 and 7-0 on day one and dropping both games on day two.
    • Nikki Scott II pitched a seven-inning shutout in the 7-0 win, allowing just four hits and striking out seven batters.
    • Noah Albanese went 9-16 across the series and tallied four RBIs and four runs, earning both Saint of the Week and GNAC Position Player of the Week.
