LACEY, Wash. — The Saint Martin's University Athletics Department today announced a transition in leadership in the Cross Country and Track and Field program.
Saint Martin's Athletics will shift to a unified leadership structure for Track & Field and Cross Country. Moving forward, the programs will be led by one Head Coach, Track & Field and Cross Country, supported by a full-time assistant coach and part-time event specialists.
With this transition, Coach
John Schultz and Coach
Gabriel Trimbur will be stepping away from their current leadership roles, effective Friday, May 15.
"I want to sincerely thank Coach Schultz and Coach Trimbur for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to our student-athletes and programs over the past two years," Saint Martin's Director of Athletics Theresa Hanson said. "We are grateful for the time and energy they have invested in our department."
This transition reflects Saint Martin's Athletics' commitment to positioning the Track & Field and Cross Country programs for long-term success and a bright future.
A national search for the Head Coach position will begin next week.
