    Pitching Coach

Cody Anderson joined the Saint Martin's Baseball staff in July of 2026 as the program's pitching coach.

Prior to joining the Saints, Anderson served as the pitching coach at Bushnell University, where he helped lead the program to the most wins and conference victories in school history. Under his guidance, the pitching staff ranked among the top 25 nationally while setting eight school records.

Before his time at Bushnell, Anderson spent one season as the pitching coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. He previously returned to his alma mater, Bellevue College, where he served as an assistant coach from 2020-23 and was named the 2023 Assistant Coach of the Year.

As a player, Anderson enjoyed an accomplished collegiate career that began at Bellevue College, one of the Northwest's premier junior college baseball programs. During his sophomore season, he led the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) with 114 strikeouts while posting a 2.51 ERA and a 7-3 record, earning recognition as one of the conference's top pitchers. His success at Bellevue earned him the opportunity to continue his career at Washington State University.

At Washington State, Anderson competed in the Pac-12 Conference, making 30 appearances and 22 starts over two seasons against some of the nation's top collegiate competition. As a junior in 2017, he ranked among the Pac-12's top 10 pitchers and started the Cougars' first no-hitter since 1985. Competing at the Division I level helped shape his understanding of pitching mechanics, game planning, pitch design, and the mental approach to the game—knowledge he now shares with the next generation of pitchers.

A native of Marysville, Washington, Anderson established himself as one of the state's premier high school pitchers at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. A two-time First Team All-Wesco selection, he led Washington with a 0.42 ERA as a junior before earning First Team All-State honors as a senior after posting a 0.92 ERA while throwing both a perfect game and a no-hitter.

Anderson emphasizes individualized player development, focusing on efficient mechanics, improved command, safe velocity development, pitch design, sequencing, and consistent routines that allow athletes to perform under pressure. His goal is to help each player maximize their potential while developing habits that lead to long-term success on and off the field.

Away from the field, Anderson enjoys spending time with his wife, Kylie, and their two dogs, Oakley and Max.
