Biography

2016: Young hit .286 on the season in 33 games, with 10 runs scored and seven RBIs... Collected 24 hits, three doubles and one triple over the course of the season... Was a two-way player, pitching in nine games, going 2-0 and struck out five batters in 15.2 innings.

2015: Made appearances in 16 games as pitcher…Had an ERA 4.50…Struck out 17 batters…Allowed 27 hits and 16 runs while walking eight batters.

2014: Made appearances in four games as pitcher…Had an ERA 10.38…Struck out three batters, twice in an innings vs. Northwest Nazarene on April 4 and one on April 19 at Montana State University Billings.

2013: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered all four years in baseball...Earned all-league and all-state honors in his final two seasons...MVP conference pitcher in 2011 and 2012...A three-year letter winner in baseball and football...Won league titles with both teams.
