Alex Pagonis was brought onto the Saint Martin's Women's Soccer staff as an assistant coach in April 2023 and is currently in his second season with the program. With nine years of prior goalkeeper coaching experience, Pagonis focuses on the program's defensive strategy and goalkeeping unit. Under his leadership, the Women's Soccer has produced six GNAC Defensive Player of the Week award winners, along with a handful of All-GNAC honorees.
Before his time with the Saints, Pagonis spent three and a half years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Central Washington University, where he graduated with a degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Coaching and a minor in Psychology. Pagonis also previously served as the Director of Goalkeeping for the Kittitas Valley Junior Soccer Association and coached two youth teams during his there.
Pagonis is an assistant coach to the Saint Martin's Women's Basketball team on top of his responsibilities with the Women's Soccer program as of January 2025.
