Ticket Information - SMU students get in free to all SMU home games with a valid student ID card and tickets are available for only six dollars. Saints Extend Win Streak To Six After Impressive Outing Over Alaska – In a critical game for seeding in the GNAC Championships, the Saints put together a complete 40-minutes offensively, and defensively, to dismantle Alaska in an 80-59 victory inside Marcus Pavilion. Matt Dahlen set a school record for blocks in a single game, ending with seven, the most since SMU joined the NCAA, while EJ Boyce connected on all five of his 3-pointers to lead the Saints with 17 points. The Saints (16-5, 9-4) held Alaska (9-10, 7-6) to under 60, the first time SMU held an NCAA opponent to 59 or less since 2016, as Saint Martin's extended their longest winning streak of the year to six.
 
Complete Team Effort Lifts Saints Over Alaska Anchorage, Extends Streak To Seven – Saint Martin's extended their historic winning streak to seven games with another commanding victory, this time at the hands of Alaska Anchorage, 79-67, inside Marcus Pavilion. The Saints (17-5, 10-4) improved to 8-2 on their home court after shooting a blazing 56 percent from the field and 52 percent beyond the arc. Matt Dahlen nearly set a career-high in points with 17, while EJ Boyce drained five 3-pointers for 15 points and Rhett Baerlocher finished with 13 points.
 
Luke Chavez Back-To-Back GNAC Player Of The Week – Receiving the award for back-to-back weeks and the third time this season, Chavez powered the Saints to road victories over No. 16 Western Washington and Simon Fraser. Chavez averaged 21.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.5 apg, and 1.5 spg, while shooting a blazing 56.7 percent from the field and 42.8 percent beyond the arc. Starting the week off against No. 16 Western Washington, who was undefeated in GNAC play, Chavez led all scorers with 23 points, along with seven rebounds and three assists. He followed up the performance with a 20-point, three rebounds, and four assists outing against Simon Fraser.

Fastest To 10-Win Mark – With the Saints picking up their 10th win of the season at Alaska Anchorage, in only their 13th game, it marked the shortest amount of time since the 2009-10 season. 

EJ Boyce Leads ConferenceEJ Boyce leads the GNAC in 3-pointers made per game at 3.3 by knocking down 62 shots beyond the arc in 20 games.  His 45.6 3-point field goal percentage is 7th best in the conference. On the year, Boyce is averaging 12.0 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.7 apg, 0.7 spg in 31.4 minutes per game. 

Tavian Henderson Leads ConferenceTavian Henderson leads the GNAC in field goal percentage at 75.7 percent. He has connected on 78 of his 103 shot attempts, while shooting a perfect 1.000 percent in eight games. Henderson is averaging 8.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1.4 apg, while playing 22.1 minutes per game. 

Chavez Named Saint Of The Month – Every month, Saint Martin's names one male and one female athlete Saint of the Month. Chavez earned his second award after being named GNAC Player of the Week back-to-back times and averaged 17.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, and 3.9 apg while shooting 49.5 percent from the field in the month of January.

Concordia Preview – The Saints defeated Concordia in their first meeting, 75-62; with the Cavaliers falling to 4-18 overall and 0-14 in conference in the meantime. CU features two impact players with guard Jarrett Gray and forward Christopher Edward. Edward is the only player in the GNAC who averages a double-double and has recorded 14 so far. In 30.9 mpg, Edward's averages 16.3 ppg, and 10.8 rpg, along with 1.3 bpg. Gray runs the offense for the Cavaliers, with 16.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 3.4 apg in 37.1 mpg. Bryan Michaels is the third Cavaliers who averages double-digits in scoring at 12.0 ppg. Cody Starr and Jace Cates have played in all 22 games for Concordia and combined for 11.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 5.7 apg. Concordia scores 72.0 ppg, the second lowest in the GNAC, while allowing 79.1 ppg, the second highest in conference. As a team, Concordia shoots the ball 44.4 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 67.4 percent at the free throw line. CU averages 34.0 rpg, 13.5 apg on 13.1 turnovers per game, along with 4.9 spg, and 2.5 bpg.

Western Oregon Preview – Before traveling to Monmouth, No. 5 Western Oregon will host Seattle Pacific on Thursday. The Wolves defeated the Saints in their first meeting, 71-66 earlier this year. The GNAC runner-up last season, are led by the GNAC preseason Player of the Year Tanner Omlid. Omlid enters the week averaging 12.9 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.3 apg, 2.3 spg, and 1.9 bpg while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. Supporting Omlid is the Wolves' second leading scorer, Demetrius Trammell, who scores 10.5 ppg with a shooting line of 46.1/45.4/96.9 percent. Vince Boumann is the third Wolf in double-digits scoring, averaging 10.5 ppg along with 5.5 rpg. Ali-Faruq-Bey, Riley Hawken and Malik Morgan round out the top six scoring options at 9.4, 9.2, and 8.9 ppg respectively. On the season, Western Oregon averages 84.3 ppg, the highest in the GNAC, while allowing only 67.1 ppg, the second lowest in conference. WOU shoots as a unit 51.5 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from beyond the arc, and 67.6 percent at the line. The Wolves record 37.3 rpg, 17.4 apg on 12.3 turnovers per game, along with 9.4 spg, and 3.8 bpg.

GNAC Recap – With their win streak now touching 14 games, No. 5 Western Oregon remained first in the conference at 13-1 and received one first place vote in the national poll. Western Washington and Saint Martin's remained one game apart in the race for second place at 11-3 and 10-4 respectively. The surging Central Washington is now tied with Seattle Pacific at 8-6 for fourth place while Northwest Nazarene and Alaska are locked for the final playoff spot at 7-7. Alaska Anchorage is on the outside of the GNAC Championship at 6-8, with Montana State Billings, Simon Fraser and Concordia rounding out the standings.
