Saints End 2021 With A 64-Point Victory Over Douglas

LACEY, Wash. - Saint Martin's scored on the opening possession, and never gave back the lead, cruising to the 98-34 victory over Douglas College on Saturday night.
 
Saint Martin's (8-3) extended their win streak to four and goes into the holiday break with an 8-3 record. The Saints went on a 27-0 run to close out the half and take a 39-point lead into the half.
 
Douglas College (0-4) stayed closed in the opening minutes, trailing by only seven at the 11-minute mark. However, the Saints defense buckled down, and forced a nine-minute drought that lasted the remainder of the half.
 
The Saints run from the first half stretched to 37 straight points before the Royals scored three minutes into the half. Saint Martin's shot 55 percent from the field in the game with all 12 Saints getting into the scoring ledger.
