PORTLAND, Ore. and
Renton, Wash. – A busy weekend for Saint Martin's track & field as they competed in the Lewis & Clark Invitational as well as the Doris Heritage Track Festival.
Gabriela Cintron led the Saints with a first place finish and a few Saints cracked the top-10 all-time list.

Cintron won the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 15.15.
Cassidy Walchak-Sloan finished second in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:36.03, her second fast time in the event.
Jack Farrell finished fourth in the men's 800m with a time of 1:55.67 and his time places him at 8th all-time for SMU in the event.
In the men's 5000m,
Isaac Cortes finished third with a time of 15:23.52 and
Kainalu Pagente finished fourth with a time of 15:28.76.
In the women's 5000m,
Alauna Carstens finished second with a time of 17:50.13 and set a new freshman record time for the event, formerly set by
Larissa Kolasinski (18:15.50) in 2016 at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open.
Naomi Hartley (18:43.38) and
Kya Ramirez (18:54.10) finish fourth and sixth respectively.
Alisha Saucedo finished fourth in the women's 800m with a PR time of 2:15.17. This time gives Saucedo the third best performance in the event in program history.
At the Doris Heritage,
Sara Sabra represented SMU and finished third in the women's 5000m with a time of 18:15.30 and now sits at fifth all-time for SMU in the event.
The Saints next meet will be the Peyton Shotwell Invitational on March 25th.
