Saint Martins Athletics

Bob Plaquet is one of the most outstanding and gifted athletes to ever compete for Saint Martin’s High School. In 1942 and 1943, he was named to the Central League All-Star football team as an end and as a quarterback. He was twice named to the All-Catholic All-Northwest football team. In 1942, 1943 and 1944, he was named to the Central League All-Star basketball team and was named to the All-Catholic All-Northwest basketball team. Plaquet was twice the league’s high hurdles champion and he also won the low hurdles his senior year. He was inducted into Saint Martin's Hall of Fame in 1991.
