Leo Zaddack was the men's assistant basketball coach from 1976-1985 under head coaches Len Stevens and later Joe Meagher. He was an assistant on the team that beat WSU in the 1982-83 season. That team went on to win the division. Zaddack later became the women's assistant basketball coach from 1987-1995. That period was highlighted by the 1994-95 team that won their division and advanced to the NCAA tournament. Zaddack, a long-time Saints fan who was a fixture at home basketball games, was inducted into Saint Martin's Hall of Fame in 2012.
