To this day, Linton holds several school and Great Northwest Athletic Conference records in basketball. Linton is Saint Martin’s career-point scorer with 2,044 points, which ranks fourth in the GNAC. Linton also holds the career GNAC and SMU free throw percent record at 92.4%, with 558-of-604 free throws. In 2008, Linton was the NCAA Division II Statistical Champion in free throw percent with 96.4, which is the GNAC and SMU season-percent record. In 2009, Linton was named to the Division II Bulletin Honorable Mention, NABC Coaches All-Star game, Coaches All-West Region First Team and SID All-West Region Daktronics First Team. He was a member of the GNAC All-Conference First Team from 2007-09 and was a three-time member of the GNAC All-Academic team from 2006-09.
