Saint Martins Athletics

Ron Sheets was named to the 1974 NAIA All-American team after leading the district in both scoring and rebounding. He was also named to the NAIA District and Little All-Northwest teams. In 1973-74 season, he scored 689 points, third highest in Saints' history at the time and averaged 22.2 points per game. His rebounding average of 13.3 per game ranked second for the Saints. An outstanding golfer, he won 17 matches and lost only three during the 1973 and 1974 seasons. He was inducted into Saint Martin's Hall of Fame in 1997.
