The 2004-05 women’s basketball team went 22-7 overall and had the highest finish since joining the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in 2001 with a second-place finish and a 15-3 record. They were the first team in school history to make an NCAA Regional appearance and won the first game against Cal State Bakersfield, 73-65, but fell to eventual regional winner Seattle Pacific. Team members were:  Zee Zee Ridgeway-Young, KaLynn Bales, Holly Nilson-Crowe, Kristina Bogue, Julia Eisentrout, Lindsay Ford-Stuvland, Wendy Matson, Alida Bower-Jurich, Beth Layton-Jochim, Whitney Golob-Holm, Martina Kartikova-Herington, Hilary Wick and Stephanie Colbo-Hartley. The Saints were coached by current Saint Martin’s head coach Tim Healy and assisted by Tiffany Darling.
